This recipe is ideal for one person, which means you will not have any chocolate cake begging you to eat for the rest of the week. Be warned though, this is so simple to make that you can just start doing every day.
This cake is perfect as is, but leaves room for variation. If you are bored of raw chocolate, throw some coconut flakes or cinnamon for a kick.
My favorite way to eat it is with a tablespoon of almond butter on top. Adding while the cake is still fresh and hot melts and creates a dream combination of flavors. Try it with your favorite nut butter or a scoop of paleo ice cream !
This cake is perfectly moist if you keep an eye on it in the microwave. Mine for hadcooked over a minute and 15 seconds, but yours would check after a minute since they vary from microwave. In this way you can be sure that you are not cooking toocake, that will leave it dry and crispy.
This is the perfect dessert for picky kids (or friends or husbands) when everyone can not agree on a flavor. You can easily whip a bunch of them, adding to the variation of the specific needs of each. You could even change the type of flour or milk for even more variation! So the next time you crave a chocolate dessert, whip one of these up very quickly. You will not be disappointed.
